Songwriting

Hey guys  How are you all!?  So the last post I made, I said that when I procrastinate I like to divert to music and songwriting.   Sooooooo I thought that I might share with you all how  I go about doing this!  Tips and Tricks  1. Firstly I have to be in a 'songwriting mood'.  - I believe songwriting is not something you can force. The best songs I have written have come when I was just singing random stuff while mucking around on the piano.  - I find that when I surround myself with people, or expose myself to different situations, I experience convicting emotions meaning that lyrics and melody come easiest :)  2. Oh how time sails by

  Oh how time sails by...  Hey guys,                                                        So another gig done and dusted!  Solebar is officially over and done with, which means we are sailing towards the fast approaching shore! I think we are all a little sad about finishing up in the place where our band began :( There's no doubt we will continue to produce and practice music as a band long after school though! So yeah, I think it's fair to say that our bathtubs are filled with emotions.  Both happiness and sadness.  But all in all, we are ready. Ready to let the wind catch our sails!  Feeling: Too many emotions....
